The game developer Ubisoft has already added two titles as Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands are set to release this year. Whereas “Far Cry 5” also has been listed on GameStop for release in November 2017.
SG Gaming Info contacted the video game retailer regarding the listing and a representative of GameStop had affirmed that they did have a listing for the game with a release date in November, despite the fact that it may not really be the 26th of November which happens to be a Sunday.
However, the Far Cry 5 is listed on GameStop to release on Nov. 26, 2017, but this could simply be a placeholder date for the game. It’s a considerably greater surprise as Ubisoft has already prepared for two major titles to launch in 2017. Whereas big games, especially ones from Ubisoft, would not rock the boat by switching to a Sunday.
“Far Cry 5” isn’t even an announced game yet. The last we’ve gotten notification from the establishment was about a year back when Far Cry Primal was released. It’s possible Ubisoft will declare Far Cry 5 in the spring or summer, with a fall release however that appears like some fast turnaround for another game.
Ubisoft Vice President of publication, Tommy François, disclosed to IGN that it is possible there won’t be new Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry games in 2017. The purpose behind this is to ensure every single new game will have the cleanest and quality as possible, as per idigitaltimes.
Ubisoft is yet to comment on the current leak, so we can’t affirm anything about it as of the moment. We shouldn’t be excessively astonished if the game Far Cry 5 does get revealed and released in the upcoming months.
At last, we can just go on what has been accounted for by SG Gaming Info. This news should be treated like a rumor until Ubisoft makes some kind of official declaration. Stay tuned with SWN for more updates!
